Meet Magnolia!

Magnolia is a 15 year old BLM Mustang from Salt Wells Creek, WY HMA. We received her as a transfer from Colorado Horse Rescue Network, who got her through law enforcement as part of an eviction case.

She came to us barely halter broke, not having done a lot and had shown to be quite reactive. We suspect she has had some rough handling in the past, making her fearful with low self-confidence. Magnolia has been evaluated and was able to get more handling and training at Wild Hearts Horsemanship, LLC. She has since learned to stand tied. pick up her feet, and has continued to build her self-confidence. While there she became quite the pocket pony, wore a saddle, and began rising prep. She was then started under saddle and continues training at Caprock Equine. She has been ridden both in the arena and out on trails, but still needs a confident rider and handler. She would make a great project for someone, as well as a friendly companion.

Magnolia was recently returned to us as she does not like going out on trails rides alone and gets attached to her herd mates easily.
